Advanced Marine Decking was founded in Hamble in 2003 by Rob Tilney, a lifelong sailor and powerboater. Two decades on, we are the UK distributor for Flexiteek 3 and one of the country’s leading specialists in synthetic teak decking.
We sit inside Hamble Yacht Services Port with direct access to the water, a full boatyard and one of the largest, most skilled decking fabrication teams in the country. That means we can template your boat, cut it on CNC and fit it — without handing your deck to a third party.

Flexiteek 3, the ultimate decking solution
Flexiteek 3 is the material we recommend and install exclusively. It reads as real teak, rich tone, classic plank lines, tactile grain, while solving the three things owners actually complain about: weight, heat and maintenance.

Advanced Marine Decking was founded by Rob Tilney in 2003 and incorporated in 2005.
A passionate sailor and powerboater for over 50 years Rob and his team pride themselves on their in depth knowledge of boats.
AMD is based in beautiful Hamble on the South Coast of England. We’re in Hamble Yacht Services Yard and Marina giving us direct access to the sea, local marinas and full boat yard facilities
Our extensive marine experience includes working with some of the biggest boat building brands in the UK, delivering outstanding Flexiteek decks for a wide variety of boats and non marine projects.
We also work directly with boat owners to replace their current decks or add a stylish yet practical deck to their current surface.
